Anthem of the Realm
The Return
Written by His Grace Daniel, Duke of New Victoria following the dissolution of the Commonwealth of Hobartstown and Victoria and the independence of the Grand Duchy of Natal, The Return tells the story of a battle between the Natalians and "the traitors", symbolizing the will of the Natalian people to be an independent nation under the benevolent rule of The King. The lyrics are as follows:
Behold! There rides King Joseph on his mighty beast!
The standards borne behind him, wind blowing northeast.
The trumpeters are calling all soldiers to the front.
The traitors are retreating, like foxes from a hunt!
How close we were to this, our dream, to total victory.
Alas, we have surrendered our place in history.
Natalia, remember your claim to liberty.
King Joseph plans his return, many miles away.
His people are in danger, counting until the day.
His nobles have prepared the Royal Natalian Corps.
Before we can have peace, friend, there must first be war!
How close we are to this, our dream, to total victory!
We'll take our place among the states that are to be!
Natalia, do not fear, for soon you shall be free!
