Protocol
The Kingdom of Natal, as a traditional monarchy, maintains an order of precedence and various forms of address as constituted by tradition and law. The manner of address for various royals, nobles, and government officials is as follows:
Royal and Apostolic Majesty: reserved for the King or for a Queen regnant or consort.
Apostolic Highness: reserved for the Prince or Princess Consort, the Prince of Oxford or a Prince or Princess Regent.
Royal Highness: reserved for Princes and Princesses of the Realm and of the Bregentines and their wives.
Highness: reserved for Royal Nobles who are not Princes of the Realm and their wives.
Grace: reserved for husbands of Royal Duchesses, noble dukes and duchesses (suo jure or consort), dukes and duchesses (suo jure or consort) in the Peerage, and husbands of suo jure duchesses.
The Most Honourable: reserved for marquesses and marchionesses (suo jure or consort) in the Peerage, husbands of suo jure marchionesses, and the Lord High Chancellor.
Excellency: reserved for husbands of Royal Countesses, noble earls and countesses (suo jure or consort), earls and countesses (suo jure or consort) in the Peerage, husbands of suo jure countesses, and Ambassadors.
The Right Honourable: reserved for viscounts and viscountesses (suo jure or consort) in the Peerage, husbands of suo jure viscountesses, the Great Officers of State excluding the Lord Chancellor, and the Secretaries of the Chancery.
The Honourable: reserved for barons and baronesses (suo jure or consort) in the Peerage, husbands of suo jure baronesses, and members of the Koninklike Vergadering.
